AkzoNobel approached us for hosting a contract design workshop for its Legal Leadership Team.
the goal
Using legal design methodology and mindset, we challenged the participants to look at contracts in a different, more user-centred way.
the workshop
The workshop focuses on using visual techniques for contract drafting, using plain language and working with content hierarchy and visual hierarchy. With a few individual and group exercises, the participants were introduced to these new techniques.
the contract design
For the purposes of the workshop, we designed a confidentiality agreement that served as an example of how different the contract looks when you take the user and how it is used into account.
